ACADEMIC WHEEL
Academic Wheel meets during 6th period. This time is divided into 3 activities lasting approximately 30 minutes each class period devoted to:silent reading,
reviewing topics from Life Science and general preparation for the Science SOLs,and
study hall.
Academic Wheel is a graded course and students are expected to use this time wisely.

Academic Wheel is also a time which is occasionally used for school assemblies. Students have the opportunity to make up missed assignments for core courses and attend school club meetings. These activities generally occur during the final 30 minutes of class.
The Builders Club uses the lab area of the classroom for club meetings between 12:30 and 1:00 (during the study hall portion of class) with scheduled meeting dates on alternating Thursdays. Class members are welcome to join this club and/or attend meetings.
